    Meet our panel



    Graham Hislop

    Graham has 19 years of experience in private equity as a CFO at Montagu, following 17 years in publicly listed companies. Since 2023, he has held NED roles at two international private equity funds. He has led major transformations, including mergers, demergers, buy-outs, and minority stake sales, alongside extensive operational due diligence across multiple fundraises. Previously, he played a key role in the growth of Montagu, the restructuring of Invensys, and the post-demerger transition at ICI.



    Jason Howard

    Jason is CFO, COO, and Partner at Headway Capital, which he joined in 2018. Previously, he spent over five years as Managing Director of EQT Services UK, EQT’s London-based AIFM. Before that, he was COO at Neovara LLP, a spin-out of the Lehman Brothers European Mezzanine Fund, which he joined in 2004. His earlier career includes roles at Deutsche Bank, 3i plc, and Nestlé. A qualified Chartered Accountant (CGMA), Jason holds a Bachelor’s degree in Economics from the University of Surrey.



    Karen Sands

    Karen is the COO of Federated Hermes Global Private Equity, overseeing infrastructure, growth strategy, and business development. She sits on the Private Markets Management Committee and GPE Senior Management Team. Previously, she worked in finance at Matrix Property Management and Equity Asset Management. She is Vice-Chair of Invest Europe’s Accounting Standards and Professional Standards Committees, holds leadership roles at the BVCA, and is a member of CIMA and CISI. In 2021, she was named ‘COO of the Year’ at the Real Deals Drawdown Awards.

    Daniel Silverton-Parker

    Daniel has been with Synova for over 10 years and is currently a CFO and Partner. Prior to joining, he spent four years at Zouk Capital, a private equity and infrastructure fund manager, where he served as Finance Manager & Head of Compliance. He previously worked at Samena Capital and Man Group Plc, both as investment managers. Daniel qualified as a Chartered Accountant at Ernst & Young, where he spent five years on the investment management team.
