We have a clear development path for people who join our recruitment consultant stream with well-documented competencies so everyone can clearly see how their performance matches up with their level of responsibility. Our training programme enables our early-career joiners to develop recruitment skills.

From day one at PER you will have a buddy who will help you to learn the ropes within the business. You will be given the opportunity to take part in monthly ‘career development’ sessions, where you and your peers will engage in lively discussions about your experiences. As well as our volunteering day, PER matches money raised from colleagues for good causes close to your heart, and sponsors quiz nights, bake-offs and share-a-skill lunches. Every year we attend a college in Lewisham to provide the students with an Employability Skills Workshop filled with vital information they take into their higher academic and working lives.

We have a quarterly PER Heroes Programme, which is designed to shine a spotlight on individuals who have gone above and beyond in their roles. Our PER Heroes are nominated by employees of the company and the winners are rewarded with extra time off.
