Working with the direct investment team of a large pension fund in London

They were looking for an accomplished Investment Professional with experience from a mid to large-cap direct investment background.  We were able to quickly tap into our network of investment professionals at the Senior Associate and VP level and the team hired two exceptional people. In working closely with the investment team, as well as the firm’s talent function, we were able to craft an engaging and unique story which resonated with the market and attracted a diverse range of candidates.


We have worked extensively with the London office of this US headquartered fund for nearly 10 years

Recently the team went through a significant expansion following a successful fundraise and required hires across multiple levels of experience. We worked closely with the Partner and the existing team to ensure we knew how best to position the firm’s flexible investment strategy, the goals of the fund and the language mix they required for their hires, as well as why the firm was such an aspirational place to work. As a result of our partnership, the group hired three Associates, a VP and a Principal over six months, and are now looking at making more hires.


The new Head of DACH for the fund’s new mid-cap vehicle reached out to us

They required support in their search for an associate with our wide-ranging coverage of the market. After providing an extensive shortlist we helped the client secure a great addition to their team.



We worked with a highly entrepreneurial consumer and tech focussed lower mid-market firm to find them a junior investor
Encouraging talented junior candidates to consider their options within private equity can be challenging. In order to help them present at their best we run regular interview skills workshops which we find can give them the confidence to take the first interview. This role was ultimately filled with an individual who had come through one of our workshops and decided to engage in the process as a result. The culture fit was clear from both parties early on.

A London-based firm investing in high growth SME’s in the tech space was seeking an investment manager

They came to us after an unfortunate experience with a candidate changing their mind last minute. The firm was in safe hands with our researchers, who helped to narrow down three preferred candidates from a large pool of applicants. Throughout the process, the client remained interested in the advice arising from our expertise, and the process proved straightforward. The client used a clear candidate score card to keep things objective and to stay open minded and engaged, eventually extending an offer to the candidate they deemed best all-rounder. The candidate quickly accepted.
